Classic Shell

Classic Shell features a classic start menu that contains an expandable Control Panel, a recently used documents deck, jump-lists, support for 3rd party skins and a customizable start button. The classic explorer plug-in adds several buttons to the toolbar and is fully customizable. Additionally one can disable the breadcrumbs in the address bar and also insert cut, copy, delete buttons and an up function next to the back/ forward buttons.

The overwrite copy screen in Vista is simplified, making immediately certain what text is clickable and what not. Several other modifications apply to the status bar in the latest editions of Windows and in the classic Internet Explorer’s user interface.
