MediaPortal is a complete media solution that can play DVDs and Blu-ray discs, watch live TV or record favorite shows, listen to music, and see your best pictures. A radio streaming feature is also integrated.

Checking RSS feeds, the weather or the news becomes easy with this media tool. All media can be streamed across a network to allow any HTPC/ PC to play the same programs. Remote controls are compatible with the software and web, and mobile access lets users enjoy the same functionality.

Playback is smooth enough, thanks to MPAR technology. AVR compatible supports DTS, Dolby Digital, and all HD formats. As an Open Source project, one can notice the amount of work designing the sleek interface.
