Effectrix is a multi-effect sequencer. It works by painting a brick on your sequencer and letting you scratch, loop, reverse, and stretch in real-time. It is meant for professionals who make contemporary music.

Let’s take a look at the different features and what you might use them for:

Scratch

Every DJ needs to be able to add their creativity. That is certainly possible when you can scratch at will. You can change up the beat of the songs anytime you want.

Loop

Why does everything happen twice? Set your loop once on this and let it run. We found it very convenient for this purpose and time saving too.

Stretch

Sync up two different songs. Not every track is going to play nicely with the others at first. Sometimes, you need a little help from technology, and stretching can be so powerful as a part of the software.

Syncing

No matter what kind of DAW you might be dealing with, you can connect it. The features will sync with it, and your DJ software will run without a hitch.

It is, by far, one of our favorite software applications of this type.

Grooves

We played around with this setting, and the possibilities were immense. You can add snares and get a groove going. Then, use the effects to add a reverb.

Wrapping Up

Being a DJ can be hard. It would help if you could get the features you’re looking for without sacrificing time, ease of use, or quality. If you make modern music, there are many different ways to go about it.

With this, we found it was possible to do. It blew us away during the review period. We would certainly suggest downloading it if you are someone who is always making music.
