Growl was developed as a notification system intended to bring all information on ongoing processes and running applications in the same place. The displaying of notifications can be controlled from the program’s unit in small and easy steps. From now on, whenever you leave you computer and come back later, you will see everything that had happened while away.

And by control, we mean the possibility to choose what should be displayed and what not, how it should be displayed and within which visual style.
